Yesterday
I drew a flower
from life
Today
a bee drew life
from its bloom
Tomorrow
the flower returns
life to the soil
So I can draw
anew

Yes VB even the flowers sustain us many ways
great capture of the cycle…
each giving just a bit to carry it on…
even the writer…smiles.
didnt see you linked so i tagged you in…
Many thanks, Brian–I had an appointment and forgot to link in after I posted.
. . . and oh, those players in that cycle. Nice micro~
You have expressed so very well the idea of the cycle of life!
I like the word play on the word draw. I think the poem works.
It reveals with its use how nature words and we become a part of the cycle.
I like the cycle of life- the bees, the flowers & soil & even ourselves ~ Good one ~
Nice…the cycle of life…..lovely!
Love the whole cycle of life as you fit it into micro poetry – well done and so beautifully said.
Life is in constant coming and going…you demonstrated this so well in these few words. Charming.
and then we return to the soil to allow for a new flower =)
Our micro-macro world is interdependent and this poem flows so naturally…
oh isn’t it a wonderful circle… giving life to each other… i like that much
I like this Buddhist perception of life and nature… so simple and true.
I agree with everyone…life begats life ..pretty photo, too;)
I like how you poem demonstrates the interdependence of life.
Circle of life excellence.. it all goes around..
ooh, I like this. a very unique cycle indeed.
